Closing Coordinator


Job Summary:

 

Closing Coordinators perform a pre-closing audit to determine if any additional documentation is needed prior to the preparation of the closing package.  This review is after the underwriter has cleared the loan to close and is the final step prior to closing.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Confirm closing is scheduled within Company Guidelines
  • Review GFE/TIL for compliance with Company Policies
  • Review Homeowners and Flood Insurance
  • Review interest rate lock
  • Perform automated appraisal review if not already completed
  • Confirm FHA Mortgage Insurance is accurate
  • Report any issues to underwriter and Account Executive
  • Once package is correct, assign the loan to one of the closers
  • Meet or exceed Company production guidelines
  • Cross Train on additional functions in adjacent departments to work as needed

 

Work Hours & Environment:

  • Monday- Friday 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
  • Hours may vary depending on production
  • Saturdays and overtime when necessary

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate
  • Mid- Level Computer Skills
  • Ability to Multi-task

Experience:

 

  • Previous Mortgage Experience in Processing, Closing, Pre-Closing or similar.
