Sr. Compliance Spec.


Job Description:

 

  • Manage state and federal law changes, including reviewing and interpreting the rules/regulations, implementing policies and procedures, form changes and system enhancements as needed working with relevant business areas.
  • Responsible for ordering and managing form updates from vendor and implementing changes as needed.
  • Assists with supporting compliance related questions, issues and compliance related requests.
  • Assists with state exams as needed.  
  • Review internal and state exam results, identify areas of weakness and implement appropriate system or process changes as needed.
  • Assist with review of marketing material as needed.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Must have minimum of 3 years of regulatory compliance experience in mortgage or banking industry.
  • Must have good working knowledge of TIL, ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, GLBA and FCRA.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be organized.
  • Knowledge of state rules helpful but not a requirement if the person has a good understanding of the federal regulations and has adequate experience where they can demonstrate their ability to research and implement regulations.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage projects.
