Job Summary:

The Set-up Specialist is to provide underwriting support to the Underwriting Department, Account Executives, and Loan Officers.  The Set-up Specialist is also responsible for assisting in the development of relationship building with mortgage brokers and correspondents in order to maximize sales volume.  Our goal is to provide all clients, internal and external, the best service in the industry.  Our team can only achieve this goal by possessing and constantly demonstrating a positive attitude, possessing superior program knowledge, knowing all policies and procedures of United Wholesale Mortgage, as well as the guidelines of our Investors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Checks Compliance for accuracy
• Analyze incoming documentation in order to obtain the necessary information to perform the tasks at hand
• Possess knowledge in United Wholesale Mortgage guidelines, lending policies, and have a thorough knowledge of file flow and policy & procedures.
• Be self-disciplined to get the job done on a daily basis.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Meet United Wholesale Mortgage’s goals and objectives
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate with Account Executives, Brokers, and Loan Officers when there are problems

  Work Hours & Environment:

• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm; 10:30am-7:00pm
• Hours may vary depending on production
• Saturdays and overtime when necessary

  Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

  Experience: 

• Entry Level
• Experience in Processing/Underwriting is preferred
