United Wholesale Mortgage announced that Laura Lawson has been promoted to the newly created position of chief people officer (CPO). As CPO, Lawson will lead and work with all teams that are focused on UWM as well as its parent company United Shore in the areas of human resources, recruiting, training, client services, facilities and events. She will also continue to oversee the marketing for UWM's broker community.
