LO Eligibility
To offer this product as an eligible broker shop or individual loan officer, the CalHFA UWM Partner Academy video must be completed. Upon completion, a report will be delivered to UWM’s Client Support team to initiate access. One business day turn time is required for origination access to be granted once the UWM Partner Academy video is completed.
Any active/producing Loan Officers can complete the training on behalf of the entire account
Loan Details
- Available on conventional (DU only), FHA, VA and USDA loans
- MyHome DPA is available in the form of a 1% interest, non-amortizing, deferred, 30-year repayable second mortgage
- The second mortgage becomes due and payable in full upon sale of the property, payoff or refinancing of the first mortgage, transfer of title or notice of default
- The down payment and closing cost assistance can be used to satisfy the following:
- Borrower’s down payment
- Reasonable and customary closing costs
- Borrowers must be considered a first-time homebuyer and must meet the qualifying income requirements determined by CalHFA in the county in which the property is located
