UWM Introduces Suite of AI-Powered Solutions
UWM kicks off UWM LIVE! event with six new rollouts and enhancements
Pontiac, May 14, 2025 – United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM), the nation’s #1 overall mortgage lender, today launched a powerful new suite of AI-powered tools built specifically for independent mortgage brokers, designed to simplify their workflow, supercharge their client relationships and empower them to scale faster and smarter.
A full list of the new tools and enhancements can be found below:
- Lead Pipeline – Takes managing client relationships and gaining repeat business to a new level. Mortgage brokers can stay connected with past borrowers at the right moments through a series of mortgage activity-related alerts, such as when a client lists their house for sale or has their credit pulled for a mortgage. Brokers will also be able to connect with new leads and past clients by easily sending emails and texts through a dedicated phone number, with the help of AI Smart Write technology that customizes messages to fit each client communication.
- Action IQ – Serves as a notification center for daily tasks, consolidating actions from Lead Pipeline, texts and account settings that require a mortgage broker's attention. Action IQ helps brokers stay informed and helps ensure they have the latest information to perform their next best action.
- Easy Qualifier Redesign – Offers a faster, easier way for mortgage brokers to price new loans and manage existing scenarios. The new search function allows brokers to look up scenarios by name, loan type, loan purpose and more. When creating new scenarios, brokers will only see fields relevant to selected products, so they won’t have to enter unnecessary information, speeding up the process of getting a quote. They will also be able to create comparison breakdowns and present up to three different products and interest rates to walk their borrower through various options to find the best fit.
- Loan Pipeline Enhancements – A customizable pipeline built to provide the flexibility needed to match individual workflows and preferences. This system empowers the user to filter and replace views so they can focus on what matters most to them. Additionally, a new preview screen for each loan allows brokers to quickly see essential information without opening each file, streamlining workflow and dramatically improving efficiency.
- Contacts Pipeline – Helps brokers access and manage contact information for all their past UWM clients, along with the ability to add partners and clients that weren’t originated with UWM. Brokers will also be able to send marketing campaigns to a specific list of contacts directly from this pipeline.
- ChatUWM Assist – Enables brokers to receive AI-generated responses with information and details specific to the page they are on. This ensures faster access to the succinct answers they are looking for, while also being able to provide broader information if they need to dive deeper. Brokers will continue to have instant access to detailed information about guidelines, matrices, UWM tools and technology from the same window.
